Prairie County operates one county cemetery, which is located at 72 Cemetery Loop Road.
The cemetery provides a spacious veterans’ section. Lots in the veterans’ section are provided at no cost to qualified veterans +/- (5'x10').
Cost of a plot is $200.00 ($30 goes to perpetual care).
Terry Opening & Closing - $450 Cremation - $250
Mildred, Marsh or Fallon O/C - $650 Cremation - $450
